Discussion 11

Bless be the name of the Lord, my darling readers! I pray that all is well with you all. I’m sorry for being m.i.a. for a while. I took some time to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacle. The last feast of the year, and it was a blessing. Truly I thank my Father and Daddy God for another opportunity to partake in His Holy Feast days. If some of you aren’t familiar with the Lord’s Feast Days, they are mentioned throughout the bible, but you can mainly find them all in Leviticus 23. The topic for this post would be Encountering the Holy Spirit. I previously mentioned that before God changed me for the better, I couldn’t recognize or wasn’t too sure whether or not God ever communicated with me. I didn’t have the ears to hear Him during my shut-eye days. Jesus pointed out that His sheep hear His voice (John 10: 27). All we have to do is listen. He finds different ways of communicating with each of us. One of the first times that I ever heard from Him was when the devil tried to get me to do ecstasy through peer pressure, and I considered it until I heard that little voice in my head telling me not to do it. Well, my good people, when you have that little voice in your head warning you and giving you certain instructions that could save your life, it’s not just any voice. It’s the Spirit of God looking out for you even when you’re not in the right mind or position to hear Him. Take heed and listen because the devil can also enter your mind and put impure thoughts there. If you have thoughts in your head contrary to the Word of God or that are just downright evil, my brother and sister, ask the Holy Spirit to help you rebuke that thought because it is not from God. Our precious Prince of Peace is with us even if we’re not or didn’t search for Him. Appreciate and take advantage of His presence because Jesus is coming back for His people. Don’t wait until the last minute or second. Repent from your sins and form a bond with Him NOW because we don’t know when He’s going to call us to our graves. Once we’re dead, that’s it. There is no afterlife like they’ve put in movies or shows, only judgment (Hebrews 9:27). So what I would like to know is, when did you first encounter the Holy Spirit? Please share your testimonies, and if you haven’t already, check out my books. You can read the synopsis and sneak peeks under the Books tab. If you’re interested, purchases can be made on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Archway.com. May the blessings of the Lord be upon you all! Talk to you next time if the Lord is willing!
