There won’t be much of a discussion on my part at this time unless you all can answer my question. Please, voice your opinion below because I would love to know your thoughts. Here is my question: is there a difference between being raised in the church and on the Word of God? If so, why? Until next time, may the Lord bless thee and keep thee. Love ya. Shalom!

Yes there is a huge difference between being raised in church and being raised on the word of God…
The Bible says the word is a lamb to our feet, designed to give us direction and hope in every situation. More importantly, the word shows us who we are in God before time began. It helps us position ourselves in reverence to God while we live on Earth.
The spiritual factor responsible for change in a man’s life is called Life. In him was life. The life of God can be contacted from the word of God by his spirit in us. It can also be contacted by a sinner through salvation.
A man that is built/raised on the word knows the ways of God…A man raised in church will know the ceremony and doctrines of the church like the scribes and Pharisees in the time of Jesus.
    What are you built on?
    Thanks Steph

Hi Adeola! I pray that all is well. I concur with your response. I was raised in the church, following traditions, and never quite understood them until I learned from the Word of God. I mentioned in some of my blogs that the Word of God is our blueprint, guide and lifeline. We can’t live without it! Also, to answer your question, my house is built on the foundations of Jesus Christ, and I pray that it endures until the end. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. May the Spirit of the Lord be upon you and your family.

      God Bless!
