My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children (Hosea 4:6).
Bless it be the name of the Lord, my beautiful readers! Truly, all praise goes to the Most High God for getting us through a week filled with fevers, sore throats, and stuffy noses with His mighty healing hands. It was nerve-racking because two of my girls had high fevers. But GOD! There is truly nothing too hard for our Almighty. Anyhoo, I pray that all of you wonderful people had a safe and blessed weekend. The scripture above is actually one of my favs. Although I have so many, this one should be an eye-opener for us all. It’s a no-brainer that, as Christians, we should read the bible daily. I know life can be busy, and I am guilty as charged because before my change, I made every excuse in the book not to give God the time that he deserves. God doesn’t ask for much, just a relationship with us. Who would not want a relationship with our Creator? He is magnificent in every way, and He only wants the best for us. Nevertheless, if we don’t read of Him, how would we get to know Him? How would we know what He expects of us? How would we know how to treat our neighbors according to His standards if we don’t read? So much unnecessary drama is occurring in this world, and I feel like integration is dissipating each day by the second. We spend so much time blaming and pointing the finger at each other when we need to understand that prophecies must be fulfilled. Lately, Hosea 4:6 has been making a lot of sense because if we read our bibles daily, God would put it in our hearts that we wrestle, not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). Remember the devil is here to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) and he is using race as a way to divide us. Reading the word of God gives us knowledge of the devil’s schemes and tricks. Therefore, we should be coming together as saints of God to fight against the forces of darkness instead of fighting one another. It’s not about race. It’s about what God expects of us and how to live right in these evil last days, but the enemy is trying to distract us from the truth. The enemy is doing all he can to distract us all from our Savior, Jesus Christ, because he doesn’t want to see any of us saved by grace. We have to stay rooted in the Word of God. In order to do that, we must balance our time by making reading, praying, and fasting a part of our daily lives. Yes, life is hectic, but God says if you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15). How much do you love the Lord today? No matter what we do and no matter how hard we work, we will still end up somewhere after death. The question is, where do you want to go? The new heaven and earth or the lake of fire? We all will end up somewhere, but to God be the glory for His only begotten Son, we have a choice and a chance to be with our omnipotent King, Jesus. Don’t waste any time. Learn of God, get rooted in His words, for they are our protection against the enemy. I would love your feedback, so please comment at the bottom.
