Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Revelation 3:14-16

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Bless it be the name of the Lord, my awesome readers! I pray that you all had a joyful and safe weekend, covered by the blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For weeks, God put in my heart to discuss the scriptures above. At first, both of the scriptures were going to be in separate blogs, but the Almighty pointed out their connection. Therefore, I’ll speak about both. First off, this blog was encouraged by the things I’ve been seeing on social media lately and how life is being enjoyed or celebrated as if this world is never going to pass away eventually. Let’s not forget, my dear brothers and sisters. There is no end after death. There is no afterlife where we become spirits roaming the world or dwelling with our family members, which are lies that are being told to children. We all are going to end up either in God’s peaceful kingdom or the lake of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I’m not sorry for being real, you guys, because churches are not being blunt enough. Yes, God is so good all the time, and there is truly no one like Him. Nevertheless, there will be consequences if satan is chosen over Him because no type of wickedness can enter the new heaven and new earth. So, now is not the time to have one foot in the faith and the other in the world. It’s the same as being chosen to lead the church. Paul was immediately transformed after his encounter with Jesus (Acts 9: 1-31). Well, that’s how it is with the Holy Spirit. A change has to happen where you no longer want to be a part of the world in any kind of way. Burning fire for Jesus should cause you not to want to look or speak like the world. As a child of God, ambassadors for Christ, and citizens of God’s kingdom, we are in the world but not of the world (John 15:19). Some of us are enjoying the luxuries in this world too much to where we are becoming conformed, which is leading us to become lukewarm. We should not be half-stepping with our actions and be with God all the way. The next year or so could be the start of more prophecies, so now is not the time to backslide in works or become indifferent to our faith. Yes, I know life is challenging, but life won’t get any better. Therefore, we need to place all our faith and dependency on Christ, who is the only mediator between God and us. Christ vouches for His sheep to our Father in heaven, but how can you expect Him to plead in favor of you if you’re ignoring his knock? I advise all of you, if you haven’t already, to read about the churches in Revelation 2 and 3, Jesus’ letters to the churches. The word church doesn’t describe a building, but it is symbolic for us; therefore, each seven church is reprimanded by Jesus. Please, read those scriptures on the seven churches. Then, closely examine yourself. Which church are you? If you have any feedback or disagreements on what the Lord placed in my heart, please comment below. I would love to hear from you. Also, if you don’t know, you can read: The Power of God Changes All: Series One: The Beginning for free on Wattpad. I pray that you all have a safe and blessed week dwelling in the presence of our gracious Father and Lord, and Savior, King Jesus. God Bless!
