Bless be the name of the Lord, my awesome readers! I pray that your week is starting off drama free, filled with the Holy presence of our Father and Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Yesterday our gracious Father gave my twin daughters eight years of existence, and it was too hectic for me to make a post. I’m sorry about that, but I truly give God all the praise and worship for His generosity. His love is from everlasting to everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3), and His mercy truly endureth forever (Psalm 136:1,26). Which is why it’s important to establish a close and personal relationship with Him. I may have mentioned in my other blogs that serving God out of tradition will not help us inherit the kingdom, but a personal relationship with Christ will. Since He is, after all, the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). So, how can we have a relationship with the Lord? Well, it’s the same way as forming a regular relationship, which is spending every day getting to know Him. We can do that through (1) reading the bible-that is the blueprint and guideline to how to live our lives in a world filled with wickedness, (2) praying-we can’t form a relationship without communicating with Him daily, and (3) fasting-learning to give up something that we cherish for Him shows how much we’re willing to sacrifice for Him. Having a relationship with the Father would be the best decision any of us can make, and it’s beyond comparison with humanity because God promised He would never leave us nor forsake us (Joshua 1:5). He is the best friend to have because He’s all-knowing, which means He sees what we go through and empathizes on our feelings. No human flesh will ever understand the trials and internal battles we face day by day but God. So, why not try Him? Give your life to Jesus Christ right now before it’s too late so that you can experience on what it’s like to have a true, eternal best friend by your side. The song at the bottom is one of my favorites it’s called Personal by Neville Peter. Please listen to it if you can and let it resonate with you. It displays a sincere love that we all should have for Christ Jesus, who paid the ultimate price to save us. Let’s not let His sufferings and death be in vain. Please, if you can, comment below. I would love your feedback. Enjoy the song, and God bless!
