Discussion 33

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him (Genesis 18: 19).

Bless it be the name of the Lord, my awesome readers! I pray that you all had a blessed weekend filled with peace, love, and joy from our only Father God. This morning I would like to discuss the role of an earthly dad. I say earthly dad because we have only one true Father, and that’s our God in heaven (Matthew 23:9), who has given us the responsibility to care for young innocent beings the way He allowed Mary and Joesph to care for our Savior. As the daddy of the household, it’s a huge job for males to care for their families, which is probably why some are lacking in their responsibility. Now, I’m not judging because, as a mommy, I make my mistakes. Nevertheless, I mentioned in one of my blogs that we are accountable for the well-being of our children. Everything that we say and do to them matters. Daddies, if you are mistreating your children, provoking them to anger, or speaking filth to them, you will have to answer to the Father for it. It’s not easy running a household, and bless those who have taken on the responsibility for both roles. Nevertheless, God entrusted us to be parents. So, daddies, take the time to learn how to be a daddy to your kids according to the Word of God. Check out the video at the bottom preached by a man of God named Paul Washer. I pray that you will be encouraged by it, and don’t forget to comment below because I would love to know what you all think. Until next time, may the Lord bless thee and keep thee. Love ya!
