Bless it be the name of the Lord, my brothers and sisters! I pray that you all are safe and well in these evil days. This post is going to be quick and straightforward. I may have mentioned the scripture above in another post, but I want to speak on it that regards a certain situation. Father Yahweh knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows us from the inside to the outside and is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Therefore, when we think something is good for us, He knows for a fact that it’s bad for us. Father Yahweh knows that when something we want so badly comes our way, He’d most likely be placed on the back burner. In other words, He knows you’ll forget all about Him once you have what you want. What do you have that is so important you’re neglecting your devotion to the Lord? It’s a blessing when Father Yahweh takes away or hinders an opportunity that He knows would put space between us and Him. All we need to do is trust Him and His timing. However, if we’re not faithfully in the Word of God, we will not discern what’s good or bad for us according to the standards of Father Yahweh. Also, why should we expect Him to bless us if we sin and disobey Him? How is that fair to Him? King Yeshua stated in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” If we truly love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30), we will obey Him.
